The 42mm depth of the fastest gravel rim from Reynolds is the fruit of a great deal of research and development both in the field and in the wind tunnel to guarantee its absolute supremacy above its competition according to our internally developed RAV score testing paradigm. Aerodynamic advantages are possible with tire sizes up to 45mm and as such the ATR’s newly developed DET2 profile was created to ensure the most efficient, stable and versatile performance possible, optimized for tire sizes ranging between 35 and 45mm.

The 40mm deep rims have been aerodynamically optimized to reduce drag while maintaining stability by way of a meticulously studied shape that considers all wind angles. The wider, snub-nosed aero design took into consideration the larger sized tires used for mixed terrain riding and was developed accordingly.

OPTIMIZED FOR the varied nature of gravel tires
The hooked, tubeless ready, 23mm internal channel (32mm external) rims are perfectly compatible with both road and gravel tires from 28mm to 45mm. Such compatibility allows for not only comfort but lower rolling resistance thanks for larger tires run at comparably lower pressures and the hooked design allows for a greater tire pressure range and is compatible with any tubeless tire. Perfectly compatible with road tires too. (90psi max pressure recommendation)
